DigiClerk has been contacted to see what we can do to find out more about these two Hammonds. Jeremiah Hammond, Parish Clerk, of 1749 and Aubrey Hammond of 1924.  This graffiti is in the bell tower of St Mary’s Church, Cavendish, Suffolk. More details at these links:
