The DigiClerk (DC) Collections are based around three items or things, currently: People; Yachting; and Stamps.
People
The People Collection surrounds records about people. If there isn’t a person involved in the record you will not find it in the People Collection. The collection is based on life events such as birth, marriage, death, burial, graveside and archives. DC will expand this to include many other life events like divorce, educational and professional qualifications, photos, memorials, blue plaques, membership, baptism and many more. We look forward to your suggestions. Once uploaded, DC will start making the connections between records. The first four outputs are: an event; a timeline; geographical locations; and, of course a family tree. more detail here >Yachting
The Yachting Collection surrounds records about the maritime leisure sector. It is primarily about sailing boats and powerboats but will expand into other craft and areas as it develops. The collection is based on records such as sales brochures, boat tests, plans, reviews, photos, articles, magazine back copies and more to come. If you are researching a particular boat or maritime item DC Yachting Collection will be the one for you. more detail here >Stamps
The Stamp Collection is based around postage stamps. The DC Stamp Collection provides stamp collectors with a means to digitise and share their stamp collection with like minded collectors. Subscribers will be able to establish collector groups and organise their stamp collections .more detail here >..Collections in detail
Future Collections
We believe that there will be many more DigiCerk collections to come possibly for these ‘collectospheres’: coins; detectorist finds; cigarette cards; maps; and much more. We need enough enthusiasts in each ‘collectosphere’ to create a new collection. Please take a look at our Support us page to see how you can help us make this happen.
